Great Wall Chinese Restaurant in Flemington

With a lot of local restaurants closed, Great Wall is dealing with the shutdown in great fashion, so once you get through on the phone line, totally worth the wait.Take out bags are put by the entrance door, and usually the closest person calls out the phone number...wait times were 1hr plus on Saturday but to be expected.Our good was hot, fresh and really tasty, better than our normal go-to place closer to home.Thanks for being open!

Food usually very good .. once in a long while they seem to have an off night but been going there for over 15 years and still enjoy it often. (Never eat in, always take out). The new online ordering works very well!

These people put 11:00 on Google Maps. Tell me why they shut the lights off as soon as I pulled up at, get this, 10:25. Don't do it, it's a trap.

I was a little weary about trying out a Chinese place that has no reviews online, and I was surprised to see that there were literally no reviews and no menus available. I'm SO glad we decided to go ahead and try takeout from Great Wall Chinese Restaurant...the food is AMAZING! The vegetables in the noodle and rice dishes are fresh and not overcooked with just a bit of crispiness...and the vegetables in the spring rolls are just the same!! I HIGHLY recommend this place...I've never actually felt compelled to write a review for a restaurant after eating there, but with Great Wall I felt that I HAD to do it. I've never actually gone to the restaurant to eat in but the takeout is SUPERB!! Check it out!!

Food is good enough, Their prices, especially at this time, are more then this basic Chinese takeout fair is worth. I mean $6.75 for 4 fried chicken wings?! Really?

Food was okay... just beware of price gouging, they are expensive to begin with! We ordered from there 2 weeks ago and was just looking to order again and noticed they raised the prices since we were there last!

My wife and I love Great Wall. It is quality Chinese food, fair prices and very quick. Although we have never eaten in the restaurant, it is spotless and they are very friendly. Whenever there is a mistake, which is not usual, they always make up for it. Our favorite Chinese place in Flemington!

The food is very good; the staff is pleasant, they do not wait on you- they are very busy with the food, which came up tasty and hot!

Decided to have some of their curry food and it was really good and of course very spicy if you're into that sort of thing. I was in there on a Saturday evening so it was quite busy with orders to go and we still got our order in about 15 minutes.

The workers don't wear shoes.

Best Local Chinese Food in the Flemington Area. This is not your typical neighborhood Chinese place. While you can get all of the typical dishes that Chinese places are known for the food is more tasty and less greasy then most. The staff at the counter seem to be a bit gruff but the quality of the food is certainly worth it. The Thai offerings are decent although not as good as a real Thai restaurant.

Absolutely delicious chicken fried rice! Actually best I've ever tasted. The restaurant looks very clean and well run, even though it is small. Good service. I look forward to returning there.

Me and my friend visited this place for dinner. This is a very small place with 4 or 5 four seater tables. First impression of this place was good but the person taking the order was not friendly (no smile on his face). We ordered Vegetable fried rice, vegetable Lo Mein and vegetable spring roll. The taste of Lo Mein is really good. It's been a long time I had such tasty Lo Mein. Fried rice was okay and vegetable spring rolls had too much oil. The menu is not very pricey. We paid around $29 for our food. Things to improve: Cleanliness and friendliness can be improved. Lo Mein here is definitely a must have one. 3.5 star is because of lack of cleanliness and friendliness.

They had a huge portion for what I paid for. I was very satisfied with the quality of the meat.While this is more geared for takeouts, I do appreciate that they have tables as I prefer to sit down.

Very expensive, a small is $8 and the food isnt that great very small portions, come to New King Foo in elizabeth its waay better

My favourite Chinese food in the area. I'm semi regular and they sometimes throw in extras like rice, cookies (not fortune cookies), and/or egg/spring rolls. They're not perfect, but in the off chance they make a mistake, they quickly rectify it

Great Chinese dishes

Food there is mediocre at best. I’ve tried it a couple times cause there’s really not much to choose from in the area that’s decent from a food perspective. Everything I’ve ordered is super greasy and not flavorful at all. I just ordered Pad Thai and the noodles were swimming in oil and they were all clumped together in a big ball. Ended up throwing it out.I say, if you don’t mind that, go for it. I think I’ve eaten there for the last time.

This place has one of the best kung pao chicken! I truly enjoy their food!

I’ve been going to Great Wall for many years. I have always recommended them to anyone even outside of flemington. The last time I went i got one of my go to soups. chicken and rice soup. there are times i get it without rice for dietary restrictions. and i’mstill getting charged $6 for a quart of floating chicken. that’s not all though. today, was and will be my last day there. other than the chicken rice soup. i am an avid wonton soup guy. and i also tell everyone that they make the best soup ever. usually i get 2 quarts and i remember how it’s always charged me 11.50$. i went today and paid 13.85$ for two quarts of chicken broth and 6 wontons in each container. i’m so known at this place that before i complete my order on the phone they already know it’s me the wonton soupguy. they basically remember my number by heart. they won’t see me again. 13.85$ for two wonton soupquarts. going up 2$ in the span of a month. nope, nothanks.

Best Chinese food I have had in New Jersey. The food always is made the same and is always delicious! I have gone here once or twice a week for about 6 months and have never been disappointed. The crab rangoons are delicious and made in house, the best I have ever had and I have eaten Chinese food in 20+ states.

First time for us. Food was fantastic. New Hope is missing a good chinese take out, so after hearing about it, we made the trip. So glad we did!

The food is still as "A Number One" as it was when I was growing up in Flemington.
